2024 Learning and Innovation Summit

Creative communicators, are you ready? In this session, attendees will explore the design elements for video and podcast production in their classrooms. By providing students with a meaningful medium to apply their reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills, they can deepen their authentic understanding of what they are learning in class. Media-driven assessments give each student a meaningful opportunity to apply their knowledge, share their story, and make learning both personal and social. Designing and showcasing videos and podcasts in content area classrooms provides students with an environment where ideating and evidence-making are expected and where creativity is cultivated.
