2024 Learning and Innovation Summit

Participants will learn ways to begin implementing a career exploration lab at the middle and early high school level. Participants will also explore the Paxton Patterson model of instruction that can serve as a way for schools to begin or continue adding career focused curriculum to their course offerings. The session will offer expertise in how to set up, organize, and run a lab that has multiple curricula being taught and experienced in a single classroom setting and instructional period. Participants will gain knowledge in effective classroom management techniques to foster a dynamic learning environment wherein a great deal of curricular experiences focus on activity-based learning
